Carpet High

Persian rug always have been a huge fascination for me. I even remember the time that I seriously was considering a courier somehow in relations with it.

And I always admire the modern movement which has made this old art form to thrive in recent years. This video is about one of the people who have a lot to do with that movement.

Wow!
what a gorgeous video! It reminded me of walking along a road in ABYANEH(a village near Isfahan) which was full of nice rugs for sale...
I miss those days...

I loved the dedication in the voice of the teacher. How focused and dedicated and loving she is, encouraging and correcting her pupil...

I love Persian rugs too, but probably I wont have them. Might get into the business, but wont buy them for my self, as at times they get a bit too exquisite... I mean having a beautiful carpet would always worry me if I am going to spoil it or something :P
