I don't know what the deal is with the post office but my boss was even telling me about it the other day! He said he is gonna quit and apply to be a mail man! You get your own little truck, deliver mail and done before it gets dark. You are not stuck behind a desk or with stinky co workers or a demanding boss..just deliver the mail!
The only problem is the pay. It is only about $17.00 an hour!
I like my cozy office. The poor guys are very much exposed to elements: sun, rain, snow, winds...
Me too, especially now that I get to work from home any time I want! Well...it's only this year but I still like the office a looot better than wandering around the city in a truck!
reminded me of a young and very smart contractor who worked in our house a couple of months ago. he mentioned that once a successful computer engineer told him "I would love to have worked a physical job like yours", and his exact comment was "what kind of an asshole says something like that?" !
I suspect he was also hinting at me helping him for a couple of hours :)
I have to mention that I take these "secret"s from postsecret.com and I thought this was cute cause Germantown, MD is the house of the guy who started this project and the mails containing "secrets" are delivered there by the postman.
The pictures name was "kathysjob.jpg" which was another reason I loved this :)
Well...it's now making a whole lot more sense..what a funny project! I hope the guy is making some money out of this too!
